Haiku 237-240

The gray sky wraps us
in a thick wool-cloud sweater
Just the kind we like

We have met. Now what?
You are silent and I speak
only if I must.

Sometimes it’s hidden
That bit of warmth or pleasure
You must dig for it.

The three companions
thrown together just by chance
get along quite well.

  1. “thick wool-cloud sweater”
I can see that sky and love how you have transformed it into something cozy.
I also think 238 & 239 go together so well, and I can relate. 🙂

  2. Thank you. You know, I do think gray skies have a comfortable aspect to them but I may have mixed up that I put on warm clothes, usually when I am seeing them? Also my knitting background has always made me interpret clouds as kind of wooly and I don’t know why.
