  1. There’s a very interesting point being made in that second poem about repetition sometimes thwarting learning, which undermines that whole “practice makes perfect” maxim.

  2. There’s repeat practice as propulsion and repeat practice to make the rut you’re stuck in deeper but I like to think the former is the more ususl experience.
