Haiku 216-218

216.
Out there in the night
rain drops fall between the stalks
of gone-to-seed grass
10/27/16

217.
Rain against the earth.
Footsteps deep in the night
muted by the dark.
10/27/16

218.
The rain on the roof
startles the dreamer awake
from a restless sleep
10/27/16

  1. Lovely sensory images in this set of poems. I love hearing rain during the night. It makes me feel cosier. Besides, I prefer that it rains during the night when I am home and dry than that it rains during the day.
