A Taste of the Season of Autumn

Can there be too many haikus written about autumn? I would say, depends on your appetite, doesn’t it?

I obviously like them, because here are some more.

Haiku Group Autumn Outdoors

1.

the quilted sky is shredded
by the wind’s strong hands

2.
The wind’s cold strong hands
quickly shred the quilted sky
and fling out the scraps

3.
The dark creek mutters
reflecting the opinions
of the dull gray sky

4.
No answer required
and no answer expected
the bird sings to sing

5.
In conversation
with the gloomy autumn sky
the creek still sparkles
