Snippets #2

More thought fragments. Mix and match! If you are wondering what I’m talking about, you can get some information here.

Otherwise, take a look and see what you think.

More three-liners. I scanned them as a group, but they are simply ATC-sized cards, meant to be read each on its own.

  1. I am so enjoying your snippet/collage/trading card poems! I love the tactile whimsy of them, the way they invite me in to further thought…

  2. Thank you. I hope that when people read these, that a phrase or an image catches their attention, and leads to more thought. And when I read your comment I see that it is happening! Thank you for your attention and enjoyment. I love doing these – there is something about the process that is restful to my mind and yet gives me a lot to think about.

  3. Thank you. I am so happy that they are having this effect, as it is what I hoped for. I find this process very freeing and leading to a lot of interesting thought by-ways, getting lost in the undergrowth and finding something interesting, all inside my own mind courtesy of some cut-out phrases rearranged! Thanks for reading them and for your attention to them.

  4. The snippet that I quoted above actually hit home on something that is currently happening in my life. I think if a thousand people read that same sentence, each of them would find their own meaning and it would touch them all in a unique way. You have a beautiful way with words.

  5. Thank you, this made may day. I enjoy the fact that sometimes just a few words can convey a lot of meaning, and that’s what I like about these “snippets”. Nothing extra, just what is needed, but also plenty.
