You Could Meet This Person

Details are what make a life. Imagine living this one.

Autobiography of Somebody

I travel through life to the sound of a tune
I buy my pencils on the first day of June
I eat plain spaghetti with a great big spoon
I don’t plan to settle down anytime soon.

  1. Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. This poem seemed to invent itself – once I get started with rhyming words I find they zip right along almost on their own. I like that! Thanks again.

  2. I know what you mean! Words just seem to flow out so naturally with poetry, like they want to be there and they end up working so well! You’re very welcome Claudia!
Thank you for the follow! 😀

  3. A free-spirited person, going her own way. I like the picture this little poem made all by itself. Because it kind of wrote itself!

It’s kind of an earlier version of those lines I wrote for those little books – pick a syllable and use it for the rhyme, and work with what comes up. I am really liking that process. And it makes for some interesting images and ideas!
